To be totally honest, i have no idea what will really stop global warming completely. But i heard last week on the second presidential debate, Barack Obama say, to stop the progress of global warming, we ( meaning Government) needs to invest in Fuel-efficient vehicles, Renewable energy, wind solar, clean coal, clean energy and others. I feeling the government is less involve and being that Sen. Barack Obama wants to as president to make government apart of reversing global warming by investing in billions of dollars is what needs to happen.
I think that's one of the major steps we need is government involvement and understanding that this problem is real and isn't going away. That's why i think if Mr. Obama gets in office, he will get the best scientists and also include Al Gore in solving the global warming crisis. Not to make this a polictical blog, which i think i'm doing lol, but i think if MCcain wins, drilling for oil will just make global warming worst and being that Mccain and Palin don't believe global warming is a man made issue, shows they don't believe how our actions effects the earth. It's sad how that slight difference between these candidates shows that with Mccain, global warming will never be addressed as a serious problem that our generation needs to solve now and just continue as being more of the same.
But of course, it's going to take us with the little steps to change a percentage of what's happening to the earth. We need to step up and stop putting it off for another day, we can change our habits and we can change them now like: polluting, littering, not conserving energy, not driving hybrids, not recycling, and hundred of more steps we are not doing. But i also believe to truly stop global warming, we need the big dogs lol (government) to invest the money we don't have and to change policies and to get the ball rolling in January:)

girl i am all for it i think u r right about our governement need to step up and make a change in helping our environment and i also think obama will do a great job if he becomes president. i also believe that we are also the ones that need to stop putting off helping the environment and stop littering and recycle and all the stuff that needs to help the environment.
Hii Steph! I think your blog is really nice! I did my blog on Droughts because I think it is a big issue! Not only for those who live in poor countries, but for everybody! I think it’s really important for the government to get involve. If whoever wins gives the first step, everyone will at least try to follow the same steps. I don’t think the global warming issue can only be solve with money, I think everyone of us, including me and you can contribute a little more to make the world a greener place to live!!! =) right?
